I Need Help With Self-Harm Urges

I have been struggling with depression and anxiety for about a year now and I started SH a few months ago and I’m trying to quit but I have been having a really hard time. My depression has made it almost impossible to do anything and my cuts hurt really bad all the time and it feels like I’m dying but no one in my life knows how to help me so they’ve ignored it. </span><br></p></div>

We are sorry to hear you are dealing with depression and anxiety, it sounds very overwhelming. When you feel this way, reaching out is the brave and wise thing to do, and we know it is not always easy. <br></p><p>We are very concerned that you have been cutting yourself. We are not making any judgements, we just want you to know we are here for you. It sounds like you are struggling with emotions, and are feeling isolated and without support. That can be a painful place to be. Once again we are glad you are reaching out. Does anyone else know how you are feeling?<br></p><p>It is important to seek support so you do not have to carry these feelings on your own. The key is to stay brave and keep communicating. Talk about the feelings you are experiencing, this may help your family and other supportive people in your life to know how to help you. When they are only focusing on trying to help you to not injure yourself and not the feelings of why you turned to self-harm it can be hard for you to stay motivated to stop. The more you share the feelings and emotions that you experiencing the more they may understand the level of support that you are needing.<br></p><p>When trying to find your way through depression, it is important to take small steps of self-care and self-love.
