I have never self-harmed but I have thought about suicide a lot recently.</span><br></p></div><div class="ExternalClass71D08417068D415083C6C5C653014A76"><span style="font-family:"segoe ui", segoe, tahoma, helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><p>​<span style="font-family:calibri;font-size:14.6667px;">It takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help. It sure sounds like you have been dealing with a lot and with is going on in our world with the pandemic it can sure seem like a lot more. We're so glad you decided to reach out. </span></p><p><span style="font-family:calibri;font-size:14.6667px;">Depression can be a difficult feeling to handle. We understand that you are not self-harming and that's really good. We hope that you will not turn to that because you will just add more pain on top of the pain you already feel. Thinking about suicide is another scary place to be. Ending your life means you end all possibilities of good happening in your life. Imagine how great life can be once you get older and things start to make sense and you start to figure life out. Don't entertain the thought of ending it. There are other solutions to help you with what you are going through. It's just going to take some time and work from you. <br></span></p><p><span style="font-family:calibri;font-size:14.6667px;">Do you ever talk with anyone about your depression? Any adults? Try to talk about these feelings so you can release them, clearing your mind for other thoughts. Find things to do, do what makes you feel good, talk with friends and family, come up with a new hobby or bring back an old one. Depression is not a place a stay in your mind or a feeling that won't go away. It might creep up and stay a while but that's when you fight back and combat it with good things and thoughts. Know that it will get better. <br></span></p><p><span style="font-family:calibri;font-size:14.6667px;">Having suicidal thoughts can be overwhelming and we don't want you to go any further than those thoughts that you've had. Talk with your school counselor if you don't feel like you can talk with your parents. It is that important that you need to get another adult involved. Thoughts of ending your life are serious.
