I Am Being Bullied By My Ex-Best Friend

It's really painful to be bullied, especially when the bullying comes from someone who you were once close to. Often a bully is looking for a reaction from you. They are trying to see if their words have power over you. Try these ideas to try to minimize your reaction as much as possible: 1)Take a break from social media all together for a few weeks. 2) Make all new accounts and start fresh with some blocks in place. 3) Make a report to the help section of the social media site where you are being bullied. 4) Talk to your parents about what is happening, ask for their support and see if they have any ideas on how to improve the situation. 5) Show the messages to your school counselor.

Surround yourself with support from your friends and family. Tell them what you are dealing with so they can be there for you and check in with you emotionally. Ask them to do activities with you in person to help distract you from your social media. For right now, the more you're able to stay busy and off of social media, the better.

You can get through this!
