I feel broken, I don't get to dance for a while until my knee is better. I told my parents and they made me go to the doctor. Dance was the one thing that made me feel happy always, no matter what was wrong. Now I don't have it anymore. Now I have to find something else.<br></p></div><div class="ExternalClassF9A233A4DD404CF29D94B6C170DBF378"><p>​We're glad you reached out again. You're never a bother! Please know you can reach out to talk anytime because it is important to have support, no matter how big or small the issue.</p><p>Dance is something that has been part of your life for a while and it sounds like it is your thing that you look forward to and use to keep healthy, mentally and physically. It's a great way to escape for a while. Plus, it is such a physical activity and so good for your body. <br></p><p>It also sounds like you can get back into it but are going to have to take some time away so that you can heal. That's okay. Explore other coping skills. Explore the world of dance in your mind and go through routines and dance choreography in your head. It keeps you dancing, just in a different way.  <br></p><p>What are some other things you like to do? Check out our list of <a href="/Pages/tip-99-coping-skills.aspx?Topic=Coping%20Skills">99 Coping Skills</a> and find something that fits for you. Circle your top 10 favorites and give them a try. It's always best to have multiple ways to cope and be active. If you're allowed, try some yoga to keep your body moving during your time away from dance.  </p><p>We are here for you anytime. Keep us up to date with how you are doing. <br></p><p>Take care, <br></p><p>Naina, counselor<br></p></div>14
