It sounds like your feelings are extremely intense if it has gotten to the point where you think you could hurt your sister. It was so smart of you to realize that this is a sign that you could use some support managing your anger. We are glad that you are not with her right now and would advise that you keep this distance while your anger is this intense.<br></p><p>Sometimes it helps if you can start to identify what specifically causes this anger. Are there certain topics or instances that spark your anger more than others? Also, when you start to get angry, what are the signs? Often times people will experience sweaty palms, increased heart rate, etc. Figuring out these signs can allow you to prepare so your anger doesn't take over. It would also be helpful to have certain coping skills picked out that you can easily use when needed. Activities such as listening to music, exercising, or journaling can be a great way to get those feelings out in a healthy and safe way.
