I told someone that I loved them and that I had conflicting feelings and I poured my heart and soul into this message and know they are ignoring me. I know how utterly helpless I sound right now but I just cant seem to walk myself off this ledge to safety.

Relationships are complicated and have the potential to be really messy. It definitely sounds like the most recent turn of events ended up being rather confusing and frustrating for you. At the same time, it also sounds like everything is very recent and might still be developing. When something like this happens, it can be really helpful to take some extra time, take a step back from the situation, and let things happen on their own for a few days. Of course, doing this is easier said than done but giving your mind a chance to back away from a stressful situation by focusing on other things in your life might be the break you need. Consider devoting yourself completely to school work, starting a new hobby, or focusing on your physical fitness. Sometimes we have to give our hearts a chance to heal by distracting our minds so it does not keep overthinking things and drag us down. If you are not sure what how to distract yourself, try one of the things on our 99 Coping Skills List: http://www.yourlifeyourvoice.org/Pages/tip-99-coping-skills.aspx.

Feeling like you don't want to live anymore is a very scary feeling.
