case of the blues from time to time. However, feeling prolonged sadness is not
the way anyone wants to live their life and if you have been feeling this way
for a while it is time to get more support to help you heal. Suicide might seem
like the only option you have to get away from whatever pain you are feeling,
but in reality, it doesn’t make things any better. It is permanent, so it takes
away the option for you to have the opportunity to feel better and live your

suicide should not be one of those options. You deserve to give yourself the

Let your parents and teachers know that you are feeling overwhelmed and that you need help. Tell them exactly what you are worried about and what is causing you stress. Tell them that it is worrying you to the point of causing you to have suicidal thoughts. For example don't say "School stinks", instead say, "I am having so many problems with my Algebra class, it is making me feel suicidal." When you are able to pinpoint what is causing the stress and how much stress you are feeling, you are taking the first step to take control of the situation and make it better. As you talk over the problems you are facing, look at options. Maybe there is a tutoring or mentoring program at your school. Maybe you need to cut a class so you can have an extra study hall. Maybe you and your family need to organize your home better so it is more conducive to studying. Things can and will get better if you 1) ask for help 2) admit how badly it is making you feel 3) be specific about what kind of help you need.</span></font></p>
