this can help you to understand your emotions and work out your feelings.   </span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>There are many coping skills that you can use every day to relax you mind and body like listening to music, meditation, prayer, and taking slow deep breaths to relax your anxiety.   Here is a list of other distractions and coping skills.  Look it over and see what may help.  </span><br></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span> </span><a href="/Pages/tip-99-coping-skills.aspx">http://www.yourlifeyourvoice.org/v2/Pages/tip-99-coping-skills.aspx</a></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>If the anxiety is ongoing for you, it</span><span> is important to get an adult involved to see if you need professional treatment</span><span>.  An adult may also be able to help you work through what is happening to create your anxiety.  We know this is tough but it can get better.</span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>Here are a few articles that may also help you to understand anxiety and find ways to help yourself.</span><br></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><a href="/Pages/tip-Anxiety.aspx">http://www.yourlifeyourvoice.org/v2/Pages/tip-Anxiety.aspx</a></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span></span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><a href="/Pages/11-Ways-To-Combat-Anxiety.aspx">http://www.yourlifeyourvoice.org/v2/Pages/11-Ways-To-Combat-Anxiety.aspx</a><span> </span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>During this stressful time focus on ways to boost your self esteem.  Try to build up your own self by recognizing what an amazing and unique person you are.  Allow yourself to just be you and know you don’t have to hide or not be yourself.  Tell yourself positive messages and believe them.  Just be who you are.  You are great.</span><br></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>We are here for you and we hope you call or check back with us again for more help.</span><br></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>Take care,  </span><br></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;"><span>Anne, </span><span>Counselor</span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></div></div> </div>13
