My Dad Just Grounded MeFamilyMy Dad Just Grounded Me<div class="ExternalClass143C522A40D24C0FB21F841A27EF65C9"><p style="font-family:georgia;font-size:16px;"><span>Hi. My dad just grounded me. I am so sad. The reason that he grounded me is because I didn't have enough time to finish a test in class, so I got a bad grade. It dropped my grade to a C+ I can't rush math. Either I finish all of the problems on the test and hope to get them right, or I take my time, and get the ones that I complete right. You know what I am saying. All of my other grades are either A's or B's New topic: My dad has been really stressed out. I feel like I am the cause of it because I get bad grades in math. Or maybe it is my 4 month old sister. Is there anyway that I can help my dad become less stressed? I usually close the door in my room and stay there until dinner time. I just stay in there because I have homework and/or my dad is stressed and gives me an angry tone of voice toward me. My mom and yourlifeyourvoice are the only people I trust to talk to. My mom doesn't live with me so, I don't get to have long conversations with her often. </span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></div><div class="ExternalClass281824350B7E4487BBDC06E4E16165BD"><div><div class="ExternalClass143C522A40D24C0FB21F841A27EF65C9"><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"><span>Math is a really hard subject, and it sounds like you are working really hard to maintain good grades in all of your classes. You should be very proud of your efforts. Have you ever tried talking with your teacher about may be having extra time to finish a test? Or even get some tips from the teacher on test taking? You might even ask about extra credit work that could possibly help bring your grade up.</span></p> <span style="color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"><span>You are right often times when we are feeling stressed we can have an angry or harsh voice tone. Giving yourself and dad a little time to de-stress after school and work is a really good idea. Plus if you get your homework done right after school then you have more time in the evening do to what you like to do.</span></p> <span style="color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"><span>Remember we are always here for support.</span><br></p> <span style="color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"><span>Take Care</span><br></p> <span style="color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><span style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"> </span><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-family:tahoma;font-size:16px;color:rgb(63, 63, 63);"><span>Amy</span></p> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span> <span style="font-size:16px;"> </span></div></div> </div>13
