I dated this guy who I liked so much. I changed who I am for him, ditched school, let him emotional abuse me, ruined all my friendships. He left me for someone else. He told me he only loved me but he kept leaving. He emotional and physically broke me. I don't know how to fix myself.  </span><br></p></div><div class="ExternalClass9A5A2A9EF21D48B7A5DC92AB1543EF50"><p> <span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">We are really glad that you decided to reach out today.  We can understand how upset you might be feeling but please understand, you can feel better.  You can get yourself back and feel so much better if you follow these steps.  They don't have to be in a certain order but just do these things and be very good to yourself.  </span> </p><p> <span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">Find support.  Talk with a  supportive adult about what has been going on.  An adult is mature enough to help you make the best decisions for yourself.  This could be a parent, older sibling, teacher, counselor or other family member.  Any adult you feel you can talk with.  </span> </p><p> <span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">Look forward.  Looking back and reminding yourself of all the things that happened or that were said only hold you back. They hold in a dark place and remind you of the hurt that you feel and felt.  You don't need that.  Looking back keeps you from seeing all the great possibilities that your future holds.  You can't move forward while looking back.  Nobody can or ever did/will. </span> </p><p> <span class="ms-rteFontFace-1 ms-rteFontSize-3">Take care of yourself.  Physically take care of your body.  Don't let yourself go.
