Thank You So Much
Thank you so much for writing to answer me. I was really in over my head at the time. I just wanted you to know, that you helped sooo much! You gave me the courage I needed to let someone ( and not a total stranger) in to what was going on.

Sometimes Is In Nice Just To Be Able To Talk
I think it is really cool of you guys to offer services like this. I know sometimes it is nice just to be able to talk to someone who is unbiased without having to get involved with insurance and what not, especially if you are still a teen or a young adult and don't want to worry the people close to you.

Thanks For the Advice
Thank you so much for your advice Mandi. I will take your advice and get out, because you're correct, I'm not happy, I'm miserable, and I don't want to waste my life feeling like this when I could be happy. I appreciate it so much (: Thanks!

I'm so glad my friend had given me this site to go to for help, I'm glad for once. I just want to say thanks. That I'm ready to change who I am, just kind of nervous of who all will stick by my side. But, I know I'll get through this, making progress. Thank you so much for the help you all have given, means a lot to me.:)

You Truly Helped
I just want to thank everyone who has helped me out along with the counslers on the phone and through email. Everything was helpful and it all seemed to make sense. I am glad i have people that i can talk to when i am down or feeling lonely at anytime of the day or night. Everyone with the Boystown Hotline is an inspiration to me and i will keep looking up to them as that. My dad passed away when i was just 13years old so ive been feeling useless with my life ever since that. I decided to look up hotlines and i found this one and changed my life completely. I hope that you will except this note of gratitude and keep it in your hearts forever because you truly did help someone out and that was me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucky to Be Alive
Next week I start counseling at school with a lady who's a professional. I just thought you guys would like to be updated with my progress. I've recently learned that I'm very lucky to be alive right now. I hope doing the counseling will help me get farther away from those suicidal thoughts and actions. Thank you guys. If it weren't for you, my school guidance counselor, and my close friends I probably wouldn't be here today.

Thanks to All of You
I'm so very happy these days. I'm more optimistic and I have felt pretty good. I am trying to engage myself more into school, powerlifting and FFA, it seems to be workng and is causing less stress. Powerlifting takes away alot of my feelings and is getting me to be less shy in front of people I don't know. I'm not sure what else to say other than thank you again, thank all of you.

You Made a Difference
Well thanks allot I appreciate your advice . Your advice was so helpful and I truly feel better already. It's rare to find a friend with whom you can trust with your most personal thoughts, but also who won't be judgmental and who and I can talk to about these difficult things in my life like my friend and my family , especially my mom. It's Organizations like yours [[Your Life Your Voice]] that can make a true difference in this world!

You Saved Me
Hey, i know it has been a while since i have talked to you guys. But the reason that is because i have been living my life with a better attitude! I finally realized that i needed to find a way to release my stress and emotions in a good healthy way, which i now am. im glad that i finally had the courage to tell people about the way i was feeling because alot of my friends were feeling the same or had felt the same way. And i would like to thank all of the councilors here because if it wasn't for them i probably would not be here right now. I would especially like to thank Kara, the first councilor that i ever talked to on here. She was a great deal of help. She is one heck of a councilor. HAHA. I will never forget the first thing she said to me. Which was that suicide is a permeant solution for a temporary problem. I would also like to tell you that my relationship with my father is getting better. Once again thank you. I can not thank you guys enuf for saving me from killing myself. Thanks again :)
