GC's Story

1. When I came to Boys Town, I was lost. I didn’t care about what I did or how I did it.I just wanted to do whatever I felt like doing. One thing I did every day was drugs and that was a big part of the reason why I kept getting in trouble with the law.

2. When I came, I really did not know what to expect. I had hit rock bottom and BoysTown had been the only placement option for me at the time.

3. Boys Town has taken me from rock bottom to the skies. I can soar high and be successful. Boys Town has changed my life completely. I know how to make better choices now. Boys Town has given me the second chance that I needed. I have never been around so many people that just cared for me like they do here. I believe Boys Town is more than a good looking place with great looking grass and good looking buildings. It’s not that which makes up Boys Town. It’s the people that make up Boys Town. I thank God for your giving me a second chance.
