Depressed Even After Getting Help
Ever since last tuesday when I was hospitalized I've actually been feeling even more depressed and I have no idea why. It's been a week, and I JUST took off my hospital bracelet and I have no idea why. I just want to forget it ever happend, but I don't know if I can. All I know is sometimes I still want to kill myself, and I've just been more depressed lately. Also I want to know why I did keep my bracelet on so long. I know other people who have done the same thing and they don't know why either

If you feel the depression is getting worse, make sure you are talking to your therapist about this. Do not keep all of this bottled in, and continue to reach out to those around you for support. This entire experience is understandably a scary one for you, and it may be something you never forgot. The memories will be there, and remembering what you have made it through will make you that much stronger.

If you have the urges to do something to kill yourself, make sure to reach out to someone right away. Those around you can only help if you open up to them completely. Stay strong, and take things nice and slow, one day at a time. Eventually, you will see the brighter side of the rainbow, and you will feel better.

Continue to let us know how you are dong. We wish you the best!
