Before you get yourself to any conclusions, definitely increase communication. Figure out if moving would really change your situation or if you're just dealing with a "grass is greener on the other side" situation.
We're all guilty of falling for that trap at one point or another. So really look at it and talk to the people that you are planning to be with. "I really feel like I get a long with your family really well and I'd like to come spend time with you, but I really don't want to be doing it thinking that the grass will be greener on the other side and find out that I just left because I didn't like my parents."
See what they say and also talk to your immediate family about what there opinion is. The bottom line is that you aren't going to get out without their support. So you need to start getting them on board with this plan.
