Thanks so much for taking the time to send us an email this evening. The way the kids have been treating you at school sounds hurtful...you definitely don't deserve to be treated that way! It's awesome that you said you've got some friends, but it stinks that they don't show you how much they like you very much. What have they been doing to make you think that they don't like you? You were able to call them your friends, so it seems like you must feel some sort of a connection with that. That's good, because you can build upon that connection.

The relationships you have with other people are just one aspect of your life. Granted it feels like a big aspect of your life and it hurts when you don't feel accepted by others...but there are other things you can focus on. Is there anything about yourself you would like to improve? Any hobbies you would like to start doing? Have you thought about volunteering at any place around town- this can provide you with a sense of purpose, direction, and achievement. Feeling better about yourself, accepting yourself for who you are, and working to make yourself the best person possible are all really positive ways to spend your time and energy.
