Worrying about what others think of you can take over your whole life.  You have to make up your mind who you are and what you believe in.  One way to do this is to think about the decisions you are faced with.  Think of the small things like what to wear, how to wear your hair and things that affect your appearance.  Then move to the big things like moral values, spiritual values and where you want to be with your life ten years from now.

After you have all of this decided, write it down so you can refer to it daily or whenever peer pressure begins to influence you again and cause you to feel unsure of yourself.

Guess what?  If and when you do this, it will help in your overall feelings of happiness.  Each morning perhaps you should read what you have written, look in the mirror and make a choice whether to be positive or negative that day.  After all, life is full of choices and the choices we make can either be helpful or harmful to ourselves and to others.

Make the choice to be positive.
