Jealousy And Friends
Hey there. I'm having abit of jealousy problems, and I'm really confused and don't know what to do. One of my best friends is hanging around with one of my other friends, and when it's the 3 of us alone, and they talk about stuff that they did together, I get a little jealous. I really don't know why, and I'm scared that if I continue to get jealous, it could wreck my realtionship with them. Please help. :/

It appears that you truly value the relationship that you have with your friends, and that you do not want to lose them. If you are feeling jealous, but do not want to ruin the friendship then you should talk with your friends about this. Let them know that you don't want to lose them, but lately you just have been feeling a bit jealous and want to let them know that. They are going to be able to help you realize that they value you as a friend as well, and help you feel more confident with the friendship. This will hopefully help the jealous feelings pass.

You can always try to spend some more time with them individually as well, so that you have your quality time with them. All friendships will have their bumps in the road, and it will make the friendship stronger by working through these bumps. Do not let this worry you too much. This is just a minor problem that you are very capable of working through. It is better to communicate with them open, and honestly versus keeping things bottled up inside.  If you do not feel comfortable talking with them face to face about your feelings, then try writing them a letter. This is a good way to communicate clearly how you are feeling as well. Of course you need to know that you can always reach out to us, we are here for your 24/7.
