We are so sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing with your friends and your boyfriend. We aren't sure who you should believe. One question that we want you to ask yourself though is why would your friends want to set up your boyfriend. Also think about if your friends are caring and trustworthy. Ask yourself if they have ever lied in the past. if you cannot think of a reason they would lie and they have always been good friends in the past, than it you may want to believe them.

It may also be good to talk with a family member or friend about what is going on and get their honest, 3rd person assessment. It would even be better if they knew the people involved so that they could make a better guess about what is going on.

These sorts of situations are never easy and there sometimes are no clear right or wrong answers. In the end you will have to make the decision of who to believe.
