Hi, I am glad you decided to reach out for help during a time like this. There seems to be so much going on with you. I know that losing a friend can be a challenging and emotional thing to get over. I am sorry that your friend of six years did not value your relationship enough to stand up for you. The good thing is that there are other friendships that you will develop as time goes on.
Since there are many other things that you are dealing with in your life, mainly involving your family, I would suggest writing a letter to your mom informing her of how you have been feeling lately. This will allow you to express exactly how you been struggling and will give your more insight on how to improve your relationship.
I know that this is tough for you but thoughts of suicide needs to be dealt with immediately. If you are feeling that way, please let your mom or a school counselor know. You may call our 24 hour hotline anytime at 1-800-448-3000. We are here for you! Please know that things will get better you are just going through a rough spot that will eventually get better.
Sincerely,
Counselor, Kizzie
