We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your friend; whenever we lose somebody we care about it really can be a difficult thing to overcome. Coupled with all of the changes in your life as a result of the move to a different state, it is understandable why you are feeling so overwhelmed. Instead of bottling all of your feelings up inside and acting like nothing is wrong, it really is great that you are opening up and trying to get some support.
The transition to a new school is difficult for any teen to go experience and it really does help to have somebody to open up to about your feelings. If you don’t feel like your parents are going to be a good source of support, have you considered speaking with the school counselor, another relative, or a friend from your home town about what you are going through? Anyway you choose to open up to somebody is better than trying to go through this situation all alone.
Your statements really do have us concerned. You are feeling overwhelmed and upset about everything that has gone on, which is understandable.
